Program Eligibility
  • Living in BC
  • Is a Canadian, permanent resident or protected person legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Youth aged 15 to 30 years
  • Unemployed or Precariously Employed
  • Is a Youth At-Risk, meaning  not generally Employment Ready and facing one or more of the following types of barriers to Employment:
Housing instability
Current or former, Youth in Care
Criminal justice involvement
Incomplete high school education
Recovering from addiction
Mental health challenges
Recovering from addiction
Recovering from addiction
  • Includes indigenous youth living on or off reserve.

Inclusive skills training for employment services for individuals who face multiple barriers to employment

Program Eligibility
  • Living in British Columbia
  • Not receiving duplicative financial supports from another provincially or federally funded labour market program
  • Unemployed or Precariously Employed
  • An individual who self-identifies as facing two or more of the following barriers to Employment:
Housing instability
Recovering from addiction
Prior criminal justice involvement
Mental health challenges
Lack of basic employment skills
Limited literacy, financial literacy, or digital literacy skills
Limited English language skills
Having less than a Grade 12 education

Offering young adults industry recognized training and courses for successful employment trajectories.

Program Eligibility
  • Young adult (aged 16 to 29)
  • Unemployed or Precariously Employed
  • Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or protected person legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Living in British Columbia
  • Not receiving duplicative financial supports from another provincially or federally funded labour market program
  • Is not actively working towards a high-school education
  • Is generally Employment Ready
